Mr. Groth full name is Jay Groth; Mr. Groth is a Social Studies teacher at Roosevelt High School. We interviewed him to know more about his career.

He Has Taught At Roosevelt for 20 years. We Asked Him If He Had Any Good Memories At And He Said He Had Lots of Them

The Thing He Finds More Interesting About His Job Was Working With Kids That Like To Learn. But His Least Favorite Part Of his Jobs Is Dealing With Kids That Think That They Know It All.

He first Started His Career In 1991.He Became A Teacher Because A lot of People in His Family Were Teachers He Says “It’s Something I was Comfortable With”

Before He Was A Teacher He Grew Up On A Farm And Then Went To College. Something That Motivated Him Was Just Getting A Job And Paying Bills And Have His Summers Off.

He First Started Teaching At Goodrell Middle School. Some Up And Downs Pursuing His Career Was Being Transferred To Schools And Had To Deicide To Not To Be A competitive Wrestler Anymore ,And Coaching Four Different Sports.

He Says That There Are Many Ways His Job Has affected His Life He Coached His Own Kids and Taught Them in High School and Went to Get His Master Degree.

He Pointed Out That His Favorite thing To during His Career Was to Coach Wrestling and Golf.

We Asked Why Did You Choose This Career Over Other Opportunities You Probably Had? “Just What I Wanted To Do Ever Since I Was a Kid”
